good thanatos build for DS

i tried searching around but most i found were rather old and im not sure anything changed so uhh


would anyone share a good thanatos one? including secondary weapons if possible,or a link to any thanatos build that is still strong on DS

Not really. It has awful ammo pool, mag size, ammo economy, reload speed. Even its damage can be considered bad, as it's an overkill on everything below DS dozers, and you can fight those with less ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons.
On top of that all, sniper guns are designed for 800-1500 meters. Typical shooting distance in Payday is 0-50 meters. It's pistol range. Not even rifle, let alone scoped rifle. Sniper rifles are the worst tool for our job.

Whether thanatos can be used to ds? The answer is yes.
But, try not to regard it as a main weapon. Thanatos has an overpowered damage which makes it having no difference with graze with other sniper rifles. Besides, it shoots slow, reloads slow, ammo pick up rate is awful, you can seldom use it to deal cops.
But, it has advantages as well. Thanatos is a good weapon to deal with dozers and snipers, it takes one shot to dozers without vizard and 2 to mini dozers. And it can deal with shields. So a good choice as a secondary weapon for particular use.
In my community there does exist a build with thanatos and commando 101, using thanatos to deal with dozers and specs, using 101 with bulletstorm and sawn song to deal with floods of cops for a breathing time, buzzer to control cops and shuriken to kill single ones. The build contains messiah, bulletstorm, 2 jokers, Stockholm.etc, lots of my friends use this to deal with large open maps like lab rats or goat simulator with videos. But it requires skills to handle and people at community wont regard it as a build they would say thanatos and commando 101 have low ammo pick up rate so it is ♥♥♥♥ and 101 with swan song has no use messiah has no use because we community super heisters never get down our average level is no skills no ai no downs od every time and we never failed so I don't recommend that. Last time I said so they just replied that so I guess they would never need that even swan song or nine lives. Just regard it as a secondary weapon, and with unseen strike it is good in safehouse nightmare that's all.

Haha, what? I can countersnipe snipers with pistols. I can hunt them down wiith shotguns. Scopes are absolutely useless, and _I_ am bad?!

Sniper Rifle with Graze & breakpoint can easily clear a wide hall in a single hit, which cannot be done by shotgun or pistol. A good example of heist whereby it work the best is Undercover & The Diamond.

Although Thanatos is a sniper rifle that are totally emphasize & specialize on DS dozer & Crimespree. If it was done right at DW difficulty, it can be far more efficient than other gun does.

As for OP, if you go for Thanatos at DS. You need to go all the way in for damage, otherwise there isn't much merit to do so.

Here is a build of mine that emphasize on it's damage, which capable to inflict 1 shot kill via bodyshot against minigun dozer with 35% chances of success.

I have, and I wish I could send you my build of it. My thanatos build definitely works on solo ds. Maybe I can show you some screenshots, though I do not recommend it because its a 75 DR Rogue dodge which usually screws people up.

Proof its strong? I survived Biker Heist Day 2 alone in 3 mins

I also have a Stoic thanny if you're interested.

There's a thanatos dodge build in youtube, that build still works as of now.
