The converted cops
Hey everyone!

About the converted cops, most of times they stay in the range that i converted them, and when i move to another side of the map, they still in that range.

I mean, whats the point of converting someone if they actually not help?

I can't even call him (does not works), they simply do whatever they want.

Have you guys seen this? Is that a way that i call them? Or a command that free them? Because i dont figured anything.

And if these commands not exist, it would be awesome if they did, it would make a sense of converting a cop.

I took a screenshot from my gameplay, and i hope you guys can see the 2 converted cops, far away from me, useless.

Nothing you can do as far as I know. Either kill them or leave 'em.

Unlike bots who will stick with you the whole time, converted only semi follow you and try to be in close by area. If they don't move at all anymore this most likely is an AI issue or they got stuck somewhere. If you want them to follow you like normal bots and give them commands there are mods for it.

I hope that OVK fixes the "i'm not moving from this spot"-thingie that Converts use.

Ya... they don't follow.
Sometimes, they are sitting somewhere and do not fight.

Sometimes, enemies A.I. seem know that is fooling them, and then focus on shooting me...
My converted Partners keep sitting near by me and watching me got killed and do nothing....

Ace the skill to make them harder to get killed...
As a return to me is being a GOOD observer A.I..:walker:

Keepers is a mod that fixes the AI of converted cops. Might wanna look into it as it makes them less apt to get stuck and not follow.

You sure that mod allowed? Not sure people want to get banned for that.

On forest and goat sim it's actually helpful when they do that. They lure cops and keep a bunch on the other side of the map for you.

They do move, but almost everything else is more important to you. If you are far away, but not to far, and they got nothing to shoot, they sometimes move, sometimes guard
Some notes: Keepers is mod that alters the AI. It's NOT considered a hack by Overkill, but not everyone in the community likes it (I don't play like to play with it in the same lobby).

The AI for converts is still the Cop AI and not the bots AI so it paths differently then the bots. This is why they get caught still at times.

If I recall correctly, converts only steal priority if a player isn't in line of sight, since the priority system has 'criminals' always targeted first. And only bots and players are criminals.

Personally I love when they get stuck. Because that means I basically always have a steady health recovery from them x3

On certain maps they then to get stuck in certain places.
Transport Train they get stuck at the lumber yard end a lot. Or even on top of the train.

In Rats if you have converts in the house and go in the basement at least one will get stuck in the backyard.... if you go out the side and up the driveway to drop off bags they get stuck in the driveway every time.... even moving back further behind a car to hide... it can be a real pain... you can go and try to go back and guide them but in some places they are just plain stuck no matter what... even grenade spam to move them a bit won't help

There really needs to be a way to get rid of the ones that become useless.
