It's crazy how many ways are on this map. And most will never be used, as people only use the one they learn first unless they find one that is much better.
Then they only use that one.
Honestly, I love this heist; which is probably why I beat it approximately 194 times on Death Sentence. So many entrance methods, a decent amount of security and overall challenge, loads of loot and, overall, huge replayability. 9/10 stealth heist. Not recommended for those who are very new to Payday 2 stealth, and/or the game as a whole.
Here are all of my known warehouse entrance methods that I recall having used at least once:
Step 1: Use one can of thermite to open up the nearest (from the van) sewer grate, then use the first ladder you see to climb up into the yard.
Step 1: Use a can of a thermite to get through the first grate and then the very next one.
Step 2: Ignore the first ladder and instead go up to the second one that leads straight into the interior warehouse.
Step 1: Go through the main gate and hope you don't get spotted by the stationary guard. This is the second most risky method of entry.
Step 1: Close to the van, you will find a staircase. Take those and you should reach the top in roughly 10 seconds.
Step 2: Now, go to the very back then run and jump to the double stacked containers and eventually slowly make your way to ground level. This one is the most risky method, as the yard has a high number of guards and a couple civilians; not to mention some CCTV cameras.
Step 1: Near the manhole, which can be found very close to the "abandoned south building" (named as such in preplanning), you will find a ladder. Climb the ladder and you will soon be at an estimated height of about four times the height of the nearby patrolling 40 HP white-suited guard.
Step 2: You may now run and jump across to the warehouse roof. However, you have two choices: 1. Jumping on the ventilation systems in order to jump over the low guardrails. 2. Jumping on to the yard containers. Note that the aforementioned guard only spawns continuously patrolling back and fourth, most of the time, on Mayhem difficulty (4 skulls) and above.
Step 1: Firstly, you will want to grab just one can of thermite from wherever you placed it; though you will usually want it near the van or ladder.
Step 2: Climb the ladder and jump across the roof. Don't die. Crouch and look towards the left side; you should see an exterior air conditioner system that you can and soon will land on.
Step 3: Slowly fall down on to the thing and make your way to ground level. Easy, eh? Well, maybe not so easy.
Step 1. You see that little walkway on the side that is connected to several ventilation systems and two doors? Jump down.
Step 2. I recommend checking to see if the ladder and/or guard spawned on the side or not. If not, it's okay.
Step 3: Open one of the doors, or both, and make your way inside. Think of this as an ambush against Murkywater; should they spot you, of course, though generally you want to avoid being spotted.
Simply sit at the van for 20 minutes while the infamy 25 does everything for you. This method is the most impractical method for... "reasons". Err..... y-yeaaah.
A whopping 7 ways you can breach through security. Nice! Note: Not counting that last one.
I generally use the ladder roof entrance, or crouch jump through the main yard gate if I want to somewhat impress others.
Solo:
I like to use some thermal paste to burn through both sewer grates, grab the crowbar on the right and start taking bags from crates and anywhere else I can find loot. Or, y'know, completely forget about that sewer crowbar and instead grab the upstairs one; which can be found on a crate near the vault.
The Vault requires two keycards to open, and the second keycard MUST be inserted within the first or the vault locks for the duration of the attempt.
The Vault contains four pieces of the Samurai Armour. Each piece is worth the exact same as an artifact by itself, but their weight is equal to that of a bag of money.
Other:
A maximum of five artifacts can spawn on the map at the same time. Such potential locations may include:
Four minutes and fifty seconds (4m50s) after Bain first tells you to "check the containers" (as in, the seven or so exterior red Murkywater containers), a helicopter will be called in to either dispatch four more mostly patrolling Murkywater PMCs (aka guards) OR, generally if you "block" the chopper, an artifact in the "middle" of the main yard. Note that most of Bain's lines will not play if you have muted contractor voices.
I recall changing my profile picture to a screenshot of the Shadow Raid yard and my username to "Shadow Raid is the best heist :D" approximately 20 months (1 year and 8 months) ago. Ah, good times. I think I had around 30 or 40 One Down completions back then. Yes, One Down, not Death Sentence, because DS wasn't even released then; it was released in March 2018, if I recall correctly.
My tip is to use C4 sensors, I only take out cameras (for card) by jumping on the roofs to gain access. The vaults on solo is all about timing, I get the civilian taken out near the vaults so I can access the vaults by running to collect the second key (i.e. within 10 seconds). Dumping all the bags into the sewers help hide them, otherwise without thermite, I hide them behind boxes nearest to the walls.
Some sneaky access:
1. Heading right to begin with, you can jump from the roof top to the top of the cargo box.
2. On the rooftop of the warehouse, you can drop from the lower point onto the cargo box below (near the water bin) without downing.
Go over left ladder, roof
Open the door on the right to open the path
burn waterside gate
Leave camguy alive, kill the other inside murky guards near vault
stay on helipad to block new guards
CLEARED THE WHOLE INSIDE
hunt down VIP civ
use VIP civ keycard and random inside guard keycard to open vault
drop everything from the inside in manhole
carry it all to water side and then shortcut ship
keep ecms ready while looting yard
(remember that bags full of money are totally worthless in this game and just leave with the stone stature dropped by the coppar)
Solo, 30min, every time
I don't advise placing them all in one compact area, as that'd be a waste. Try placing them around corners and stairwells. Definitely do not plant mines on loot and/or openable doors/gates/anything else that was, originally, a stationary object. That is, of course, unless you intend to do just that: Wait for the host to open the door and then leave when the mine causes a loud bang, therefore confusing everyone as to why 30 red exclamation marks popped up on everyones' HUDs all of a sudden.
Besides, Shadow Raid with ECM Jammers is overrated. If you do end up making a mistake, you only get 60 seconds in Point of No Return (PoNR/PONR) to escape anyway. Additionally, you need a bare minimum of 12 loot bags on Mayhem and above in the van, ship or dumpster to escape.
Hard: 5
Very Hard: 7
Overkill: 9
Mayhem and above: 12
Play Murky Station, XP
Shadow Raid is awesome gameplay wise though, even if the exp is low. I think Shadow Raid is just as good as Murky Station. I like listening to the Radio while "Im a wild one" plays on Murky Station, definitely one of my favorites this game has and I fell in love with it. Sometimes when I'm tired or a little bored, I just play Murky Station on Normal, kill a few patrols and just listen to the music (i.e. I will give you my all, et al.)
Yeah Im currently playing other games. I don't think I'll be able to hit all achievements on Payday 2 anymore anyway since players are becoming more less than what it used to be for the past months. Although I would like to, that seems nearly if not, impossible to fullfill that dream I once had now.
Also yeah, I get 'that' bored... Unmotivated to be exact.
you can complete them, just need to be motivated for them, many players are waiting others players for complete achievements
Also this.
Why is it taking you 30 mins to solo a map that's super easy to do in 10?
