Only useful if you wanna get the death sentence + one down achievements.

You also can play with one down mechanic activated on deathwish or even lower, to force people to use their brain a little, because it's really hard to actually go down below DS.

One Down doesn't give any bonus exp/money; it's merely there for a "harder" difficulty and achievements.

You can enable the modifier on any difficulty, not just Death Sentence.

On the other hand, I always enable OD when stealthing. I suppose it just "looks" better?
becuase in the old day is a forced mechanic so

Thank goodness I started to get those achievements before Update 168/9

Not when you get downed on Shadow Raid and after revive your screen is all grey :P But I agree, it really looks better.

I've beaten just about all stealth-only missions on One Down when that gamemode was forced, but now I don't have to do it again.

In a stealth build you have enough points to get the skill that gives you another down.

Why would you take Nine Lives for a stealth heist though?
Besides, it is impossible for you to get revived when playing entirely Solo or with AI. Of course that is not the case when playing with atleast one more person.

Because there's no more revelant skills, so you might take Nine Lives as well. There's not enough stealth and utility skills for lvl100, so you can spare the points.
If you want. It was just a suggestion for that really marginal problem. Personally, I don't recall ever going down in stealth, but then again, I don't ECM rush either, against bronco cops on DSOD...

And yes, you can't be revived in solo. But the guy complained about the screen being black and white, so he's got revived somehow. That point is moot.

I agreed that OD looks better in stealth in general, not only solo. I wasn't talking about Shadow Raid solo either. And you actually CAN be revived in solo, as long as you take unsilenced weapon/grenades so you can trip the alarm and trigger the loud mechanics, where AI can come to help you.

Entire Shinobi tree, Jack of all Trades, drill (and trip mines) skills, saw skills, silenced weapon skills (and potentially pistol skills).
And even then I would see more relevant skills somewhere else than necessarily Nine Lives (and even the entire rest of the tree itself).

For stealth? Not any more than armor...

Okay, guys, this discussion is getting way too serious. I answered jokingly to an absurd complaint.

BUT then again, if we are already knee-deep...
That's all can be fit onto two loadouts. You don't need the saw in your 'everything' build, and don't need everything in your 'saw' build. Either you bring a saw or don't, and it's easier to set up an another profile to switch between stealth and stealth saw, than swapping equipment and making a full-full build.

And pistol skills? Why? Unalerted guards have 1HP. Anything kills them in one shot. It can be a slight problem when they are alerted, but then you already ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up stealth, so it's probably a restart anyways...

Bottom line: YES, you are right, Nine Lives is useless in stealth. But you still can spare the points for it, if you really want to.
