Should i Reset my Payday 2 Account?
So i'm going to buy the game for 2 of my friends and i thought; why don't i reset my account and level up with them. I've got 225 hours in PD2 and i've wanted to do it for a while, so should i?

You could always make a backup of your current save to replace in case you hate resetting after the fact.

You can still complete all heist in Ds Od, reach to 1000+ achievments or do the secret, then reset

Another thing you could do is undo your build and start with the AMCAR and Chimano 88 unmodded for the true newbie experience, without having to do anything but press R on the skill menu and select an unused build profile (or just selecting an unused build profile, if you haven't used up all your skillsets).

I just did my 3rd reset, plus I kinda did I reset when I installed restoration mod, but I'm not using that anymore. As someone else pointed out it might be a good idea to make a backup of your save in case you change your mind. 3rd time I knew what I was getting into.

When I reset I hated that people talked to me like the average dumb new player but it was quite fun starting over.

That is a problem, but I usually play offline with bots so it doesn't impact me as much.

Then tell them that you know how to play and if they think you're lying tell them to check your hours.

Friends can flake out, even your good ones. What if you reset and then they decide they don't like the game? LOL

They liked it (i knew one of my friends would like it cause he tried the demo and really enjoyed it)

It's really not that hard to get back, and infamy doesn't really matter all that much after level 5. Also some of us suggested he back up his save file before doing it that's what I did my first time. Now I'm just like screw it I'm starting over lol. I personally think the game is more fun when you don't have all of the levels, tons of money, weapon mods, weapons, and perk decks. You have to work harder.

I had literally the same Idea yesterday since I bought the game for 2 friends. I Reseted my whole progress to play with them and have the same experience as them, but they didnt like the game. So here I am now again, at level 10 doing stealth heists alone or with randoms to get my all my things back.
