That is a problem, but I usually play offline with bots so it doesn't impact me as much.
Then tell them that you know how to play and if they think you're lying tell them to check your hours.
It's really not that hard to get back, and infamy doesn't really matter all that much after level 5. Also some of us suggested he back up his save file before doing it that's what I did my first time. Now I'm just like screw it I'm starting over lol. I personally think the game is more fun when you don't have all of the levels, tons of money, weapon mods, weapons, and perk decks. You have to work harder.
you can just make a new steam account and use family sharing thingy.
