Using mods offline!?!?!
If I ever get to a very high level or XXV100 I'd start thinking about spicing up my game a little. Installing a mod or cheat engine just to ♥♥♥♥ around in offline mode, my question is does this game have any sort of ban they give you for using mods specifically in offline mode. I am thinking about doing this in the future, but I will give it up quickly if it means a ban on my name

Nope, nothing will happen to you if you use mods offline.

Hate people who do that

As others says already there no bans for that.

You are trying to trick yourself, no matter where and how to cheat, it will always be cheat and who use it a cheater.

Using it offline to have some fun with friends is not really cheating in my book. I'm not going offline unless it is to play with friends, and it will be private

Everyone has their own outlook on cheating. Personally I don't care as long as you don't bring cheats into my lobbies and you join high difficulty heists without proper knowledge of the heist or experience of the game, but other than that go ahead.

You could get banned for cheating achievements if you do that, but otherwise no.

Payday 2 has, sadly, no anti-cheat or ban what-o-ever.

They try to cover this up by banning people here on the forum if they have cheated achievements times (nobody does more than 2 infamys in less than a hour. No, Hackers can't force you to do it.).

But the Ban has the same effect as a ban for insulting or being racist (or pointing out how Almir tricked us, yeah you think i forget that).

Said effect is a ban from the Payday 2 Community Group, which locks the Community Weapons ingame. But you can always leave the group, get banned, and then rejoin, as Group kick&ban works in that order in the moment the mod bans you. I also heard that you can get invited back into the group by others in it even while banned.
Most Unlock Hacks unlock the community stuff anyway, so the worse that can happen is you can't write here anymore.

Great, what?
Godmode & Nonclip is as bad as using the N-Word on the forum. You can't write in the forum anymore. Wow. Aka if you never go here anyway, NOTHING will happen to you.

And people act like iam a monster when i tell them i run Lobbyinspect, NGBTO, Stop the Cheater and Cheater Kicker.

I get that sometimes too, half of them never hosted before so havent got a clue.

In regards to the original post however, Overkill might not do anything anymore but guaranteed if you do cheat achievements / use any form of unlockers etc you'll catch enough people's eye, specifically regular hosts and end up getting that which Overkill won't hand out, hard bans and insta kicks from people's games.

There's a thread on here every week from someone who doesn't know why there getting kicked from every other lobby. Their achievements usually answer their own question.

Keep in mind when you play offline you can't invite friends, only playing with bots or solo is possible.
