Does the money from the h3h3 character pack still go to Ethan?
Not planning on buying it. Just curious.

It likely should. That was the entire point of the DLC, and unless Bo being kicked from the company changed that (it shouldn't since Almir is/was a fan of H3H3), it is still probably going to Ethan and Hila.

Yes. It doesn't go to Overkill, that's why it couldn't be bundled up in the Legacy bundle. They allegedly do something else with it than the original cause which I've never seen or heard of since. Just seemed to disappear into a black hole from what I've seen. I've never seen Overkill report on any statistics or results.

Why a multi millionaire needed Overkill to do a permanent multi year charity drive for them is another question altogether.

I regret buying the pack now given how I don't like H3H3 anymore but hey, the Airbow is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rad.

A lot of people bought it just because they like PD2 and probably thought it was just another DLC as normal. I don't like supporting charities that aren't transparent to me though so avoided this mess.

Thats fair. But I recall the H3H3 DLC being a fundraiser to help cover legal fees that they incurred from being to taken to court over a a false lawsuit regarding defamation and copyright infringement.

I think it was also to help start their own little thing to help combat copyright infringement cases. I don't think that went anywhere though.

Lots of people go to court all the time. Why donate money to a multi-millionaire when there are YT'ers who aren't millionaires or lots of other good causes? It's made even worse by their total lack of care and effort and the way the money didn't even get used for the stupid purpose Ovk said it would be at first.

Again, Almir is/was a fan of H3H3 and probably talked people into it. Plus the cause seemed righteous since Ethan and Hila were like the first Youtubers to be taken to court of this and they made their lawsuit look huge by saying it would set precedent for future cases of of Youtubers facing copyright lawsuits.

They weren't the first taken to court and of course they'd make it look huge as such YT'ers make their money by making everything a big deal and getting attention. In this case they hooked a big fish and got free money for a "charity" that didn't deserve a dime in the first place and yet money still flows into it.

"RAISE MONEY FOR MILLIONAIRES. DIG DEEP FOR THIS CAUSE"

It's like a Dickensian nightmare.

I have the H3H3 DLC and I was a fan of their so that's cool. I know Ethan has become a doodoo head lately but at the time I liked em, and I enjoy owning this DLC now as much as I did then.
The characters aren't horrible, the perk I liked a lot but I know it's wasn't anything special. For my taste it was a better Armorer but a worse Sociopath. The crossbow was cool tho.
