Mission not available online

So playing Payday2, need help! Mission the word gets out says it is not available online. I can load it when I got to Crime.net offline. But then I can't invite friends. Anyone seen this?? Thanks!

Is it the story line missions?
If so you need the dlc to host it online.

Well it's because some missions in the story are dlc only. You can get a taste for them on the story so if you want to buy the dlc later you can.
The dlc you want is the ultimate edition bundle.

Most missions in the story line are part of the base game. You just need open the story line and start the heist. But there is one or two "mission" where you need DLC. To prevent abusing of hosting the map, if you dont own the DLC" only available in crime.net offline. Maybe your friends own required DLC? You can ask them to host the map for you so you can play together and you can progress toward story line.

Why does story line reset evcerything back to 0 like a new fresh install for? The way i read it starting a story line will wipe out 5 years of work.

That's not what storyline does. You play the normal difficulty of the heist, and it also counts if you complete the same heist on your own in higher difficulties at the time the heist is required. It has no effect on your stats. It's just there so you can play the heists according to the canon.

Doing a certain heist won't count if you aren't on the current heist in the storyline. Meaning, you can't play a later heist until it is the one that comes up. It never counts if you have done it before.

The only thing I can think of that "resets" anything is when you start doing Infamy. You don't lose your items though, but you just lose the stats as intended.
