Buying bundle as a gift for friends. Green Man Gaming
https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/payday-2-ultimate-edition-pc/

For those who want to get the full game for a friend, steam won't allow you to buy bundles or dlc for friends. Evidentally they don't want our money. This'll do...

You cant buy bundles outside from steam. There no code for it. Youre advertising a scam.

Umm, Green Man Gaming is the real deal. It's a highly reputable site that works with legit keys.

To OP: The UE on Steam is a dynamic bundle which means that the price will change depending on how many products you own. There was an option to buy the full bundle as a gift, but thank its removal to idiots who couldn't distinguish two bundles and went to complain to Overkill

So when you buy the bundle from them they give you like a buttload of keys for the DLCs? As far as I know you cannot buy a key for a bundle. Im not saying GMG is to blame here. But the guy providing the key. I saw that kind of "mistake" a lot around.

"Steam Bundles
Steam keys cannot be generated for Steam bundles. You will need to generate keys for the individual apps in the bundle."

Litterally quoted from a valve source. So basicly is GMG just handing out a ton of codes together? If its supposed to be a unique single code that just cant work.

Could be, i don't see any other way. That site is much better than steam btw, i got fallout 4 GOTY, ac origins and resident evil 7 gold edition for 60 euros few days ago, the same would cost me 90 on steam right now.

I don't see how the fact you saved money has any weight in the argument. Saving money on other site never stopped people from buying the base game having been told it was UE.

That's either outdated information or BS. There were GOTY keys for PAYDAY 2 sold in a bundle by Humble Bundle. Overkill even messed it up, because they were giving keys for a non-purchasable, extended GOTY (which later became the UE after adding a few more DLCs into it) until Overkill was notified of the problem and fixed it. The extended GOTY had one key, and it worked, it just happened that it activated more DLCs than advertised.

GMG is a legit store and if they say they are selling the UE, then they are selling the UE.

GOTY Edition was not a bundle.

That's kinda odd. Guess the rules about bundles finally changed after all.

That's great then!

I have my issues believing they work with publishers since their business is selling keys cheaper than steam does. It is just illogical. And I doubt they can offer something for steam steam doesn't offer itself.

Do you know how big Steam's cut is? :) Just look that up and you'll see.

It still doesn't answer the question about them offering stuff steam doesn't for steam.
Like... You are physically not able to gift the bundle. They say it is. Do they give you all DLCs individually?

Let's not say that. Let's just keep going with the ball. People say the place is legit and I have my doubts.

Just want OP or somebody to take the bullet and report in to confirm it.
