Why are 90% of the voice actors in Payday 2 ♥♥♥♥?

Like it says in the tile, most of Payday 2´s actors are really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I wanted to know if it´s on porpuse or Overkill is just really bad at hiring voice actors/ has a tight budget

I'm a voice actor and the only characters besides Jacket with an actual voice acting issue would be Ethan and Hila for obvious reasons (mainly that they aren't voice actors), Wick, and Joy.

Every other character in the game sounds perfectly fine. Can you specify what about a certain voice that you dislike?

I really like the voice acting. I've heard many really awful games with bad acting elsewhere. This isn't one of them.

Well, for example, Dallas, Sydney, Rust, Clover, when I hear them, I know they´re voice actors. They don´t sound like bank robbers, or criminals for that matter. It just doesn´t sound authentic at all, in my opinion.

I personally think most of the voice acting is pretty good, except for Ethan, Hila and Joy (I can't stand their voices and the way they deliver their lines).

I think most of the voice work is real well done. Ethan and hilarious aren't great. Some seem not too into it, like joy and rust.
