Do you want to update Locke? (Small Ending Spoiler) - VOTING OVER!

This vote is now concluded and the results are astonishing. We are going to update the ingame model and both the video in the contact database and the background of the Locke heists to feature the one and only Ian Russell. We knew he was popular but he won over old the Locke model with about 5200 votes for and about 300 votes against.

We are happy to do the update in the near future and thank all of you that took part in the vote.

Many of you have seen the ending of PAYDAY 2 by now and the excellent performance of Ian Russell as Locke in the flesh. During the fitting for the films, we asked Ian if he wanted to be featured in the game as the in-game model. He was very happy to help out and wanted to write you guys a short message:

Dear Payday Friends it has been my eternal honor to provide the voice for Locke for you over the past 4 years. With your agreement, Starbreeze is offering to add my face too. I can tell you It would give me a great amount of additional pleasure to have my face peer out at you from the game. I hope you would enjoy that too.
If you would like that to happen Starbreeze is asking for your input.

If we update the model it would mean to get a new face for locke and a new contractor video and the background of the briefing for his heists. The video would be taken from the "Somewhere in Mexico" film.
