Any point of using DMR kit?

Yesterday I tried using DMR kit with the AMR-16, I thought it was pretty terrible and wanting to have your opinions. Is it bad or am I not using it right?

Their pickup got adjusted together with the other DMRs, so it's a flat value that isn't affected by pickup skills or bonus, the main advantage over hte other DMRs is better modding options and mag size

I wouldn't use DMRs right now. They are mostly designed for players that have near robotic perfect accuracy and instant reaction speed.

I mean if you're playing on Overkill or lower then they are fine if paired with an ammo positive secondary. But Mayhem and above you'll need a weapon that can allow for missed shots.

I sadly don’t play MH and below anymore, I only do DW and above. Should I take off my DMR kit if I’m more of a person that likes spraying then accuracy?

Definitely. I would even consider using a different weapon altogether.

Yes. While technically DMR's are ammo neutral it requires the player to never miss, only score headshots, actively collect ammo boxes, and use HVT Aced/Ammo Efficiency along with an ammo positive secondary to deal with specials.

In short it's not worth the effort when crit autoshotties, LMGs, and Graze sniper rifles exist.

DMRs trash. I only use the best weapon in the game, Cavity 9mm ;)

Near as I can tell you're far better just getting something to spray down your opponents with bullets or getting a sniper; DMRs are too low damage, have no shield pen, and worst of all their ammo can't justify their use.

build in DMR Little Friend really worth. but mostly used as grenade launcher than rifle.

With current amount of spawn cap, I was the one that mainly used DMR and have to change to Crits Saiga and Microgun... I would say don't, with stupid amount of spawn, overnerfed DMRs, and the randomness of animations played when staggered make DMR even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in high difficulty.

Galant with crits and Ammo efficiency is still useable. I like to play with it on DW/DS.

Which falls under the DMR category

Which is also gimped by the DMR nerf.

Personally, I'd use Battle Rifles with Frenzerker

It's not the best but it can get by if there aren't that many police in all directions.

Only thing terrible about DMR in general is ammo pool and ammo pickup. You gotta aim your shots, which is pretty hard with all the cops rushing you.
Just use Brothers Grimm or Izhma and spam. For secondary use China.

Never really found a use for the DMR kit on the guns that had them...

Except maybe the Gehewr 3, but even that isn't as good on higher difficulties.

Was good in the past when the ammo pickup rate allowed for more missed shots, now it isnt as good IMO. For the M16, just take off the DMR kit and use it as a battle rifle with a frenzerker build if you insist on using the M16.
