Also, what cable are you using? (DVI, HDMI. DisplayPort?)
I also cant seem to find that file to edit it. It's not in my Payday 2 installation folder, or if it is I cant see it.
Seems some other people have had this issue and they say by changing that file it's resovled but since I cant find it I cant edit it. There is an XML document called content. Is this the one I should change? It's not in the path that Henry Swanson suggested though and it appears to contain HTML text.
It's not a major issue as the game runs smoothly for me but it's a little annoying.
Are you on Windows 10? Then please try looking for it this way:
1. Press the Windows Key + r and type %appdata%. Click on OK or press enter.
2. The AppData\Roaming folder will now open. Go one folder "up", or in our case to the AppData folder.
3. You should see three folders. Open the Local folder.
4. You should now see the PAYDAY 2 folder. Open it.
5. You should now be able to see the render_settings.xml file.
6. Open it by right clicking the file, then go to "open with" and select Wordpad, Notepad or any other text editor.
Thanks for replying.
Cheers.
