Must have mods

I dont play in months can anyone say the must have mods right now? Against cheaters, prevent crashes and more fps mods.
I'm searching but there are thousands xd

There are not must have mods.
I've played this game for almost 800 hours without any mods.

I am almost at 1K hours
Half of the time with mods and half of it without and I can tell you:
Mods will cause more crashes so no you don't need them for any "fixes"
And the best cheater protection is playing with friends. Publics aren't usefull in any way at all.

But i dont have friends that play this game and i want anti cheater mods, cause cheaters in this game...

if you want must have mods, i would say bots weapons and equipment, as well as keepers and iter (fix the messy navigation and prevent jokers from despawn or get stuck for no reason), bots weapons and equipment fix the weapon scaling making all of them usefull on AI, alternativly, you could use better bots and use thier weapon damage fix so long you disable the weapon balance of bots weapon and equipment.

i do reccemand better bots since they can get cops to surrender, and prevent them and jokers from killing cuffed cops by mistake. (you could disable the bots being able to dominate cops in options)

Well, then you have to go for a mod like NGBTO or anything
Those big named ones are stable (most likely) and as long as you don't install any HUD mod or some other cosmetical mods you should be fine I guess

Well, you can also start going in with Silent Assassin so you can make everyone surrender with one click so you can idle the whole heist.
Better bots comes as close to cheating as possible without being considered as cheating (for what ever reason)

Anything that changes gameplay is cheating, dont care if improves, thats what i believe, but let's not discuss that, or this will become toxic really fast.

I need blt or lua to install mods right? It has been to long xd

If you usually play solo or with one more friend i recommend:
-Better bots: so they actually kill stuff and prioritize enemies and use cover
-Iter: better AI movement
-Full Speed Swarm: reduce the cop reaction time
-Moonkeepers: bots can grab bags and move them to the drop point or whenever the place you mark them to drop (helpfull in maps where theres a lot of bags like FWB)
-Goonmods Custom waypoints: can mark the bot and joker to defend an area while you cover another room or doing a objective

carry stacker reloaded for stealth heist(like for framing frame) or when you don want to move bags for 15 min but its a cheat tho

other mods i recommend its:
-Inverted flashbang glare: make the flashbang galre black so it doesnt hurt your eyes at night it really do help a lot(they should make it offcial actually it really does help a lot pls overkill <3)
If you play with sentry turrets alot:
-Sentry health display: shows the health of your sentries (works better when hosting)
-Sentry auto AP: makes it when you deply a sentry it will go to AP mode automatically(nobody uses full auto anyway)

most of those mods are quality of life improvements that can make your game better things like ffs,iter and better bots might give you more fps too, thankfully mods are optional and it all comes to personal preference so dont take my comment to seriously

Lobby Player Info - gives you more info in lobby about people and their builds, basic anti cheat
NGBTO - people gave this mod so much hate, that creator abandoned it. Nowadays it's barely used. Also pretty decent anti cheat.
Music Control - change music to your favorite Payday 2 track
WolfHUD - huds like this does not change gameplay, but give you info, that you normally do not know. Purists still hate them.
Yeah you need BLT for everything, use the newest one.

i found the game to play more or less the same with and without better bots, it only really make them more responsive and focus on specials rather then whatever is closer, and you cant have more then 5 dominated cops + 2 jokers so its fine, i just hate when i try to dominate a cop, then the team AI or jokers kill the cop while targeting someone behind him, this solve that issue.
