Im simply used to higher frame rates than 60. I could play a 3rd person game with locked 60fps but not a 1st person shooter.
<renderer_config>
<d3d_device
adapter = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070"
adapter_index = "0"
resolution = "3440 1440"
windowed = "false"
refresh_rate = "120"
aspect_ratio = "2.38889"
v_sync = "1"
Your refresh rate is probably set to 60. Edit the refresh rate accordingly.
Already figured that I'd have to edit some files.
Why add that option ingame if it doenst work
Yes 60 is unplayable for a first person shooter.
It feels slow and sluggish.
I need at least 90fps.
Have you ever tried playing on a monitor with a higher refresh rate than 60hz?
