So about bain.

Guys I got some theories about the guys who betreayed bain. I think that vlad could be one of the traitors me and my friends are trying to crack this. Also I hope that the payday 2 secret theory thread is still active. So when we start the four stores job or the nightclub job bain says that he doesn't expect that much security,and he says that vlad isnt being forthcoming with him either. Also when we are going on vlad's jobs there isnt a lot of cover and the police response is too quick unlike regular heists.Also the fbi or murkywater are one of my suspects.I think that the fbi broke into bains safehouse and kidnapped him,also could it be murkywater that might be messing with bain, I think it is.I hope that the payday gang get to actually meet bain in person and rescue him that would be awesome. So what do you guys think anout my theory?

You haven’t looked outside the box. In FBI files, if you bother going there, you can see a japanese organisation called ”Beyond Yesterday” has sent to officer Garnet some... messages.

Also, Gage’s FBI profile says that Garnett and his policemen can try to crack him to telling something about Bain.

Vlad not forthcoming with Bain? That was long time ago.

Of course police will come fast to a local 4 store place or a nightclub to take down the PAYDAY gang and rescue civvies.

I know this is an obvious choice but it could be the dentist. Think about the Golden Grin Casino and the Diamond. Both of them had main objectives that were focused on ancient artifacts. He also never specified who he was working for. Bain also seemed to trust him as he is in charge of the preplanning for multiple heists.

I'm not convinced that Vlad doesn't have SOMETHING to do with this. It's a bit suspicious that, after being the second-most active contractor for the entirety of Payday 2 (behind Bain, obviously), he's totally disappeared for over a year now.

I'm not saying that he's the mastermind behind this or anything, but I'm wondering if this Illuminati-esque secret society put the squeeze on him. They'd definitely have the motive after the whole nuke thing.

I'm just saying, maybe Locke should send someone to check up on him, make sure he's not dead or something.

The thing about Vlad is that he can often be seen in the crew's safehouse. granted, the crew canonically lost it after bane went MIA, but Vlad was around up until the point, so I think he's out of the loop on this.

It was a business deal. He does something for us, we do something for him. Bain said that after the casino the dentist was "done with us, whatever that means." He has no true loyalty, so he could be working for another bidder going after what Bain was after.
