Overkill Software: "Storm" game

I am sorry, but I don't know where should I post this, since its Overkill Softwares game, I guess the PD2 discussions is an understandable place for it.
So, I just ran into this in Overkill's website.

So the website says:

I'm pretty sure it is canceled, but does anyone knows anything about it?

It had a trailer when they did the StarStream thing iirc.
Its turned into an arcade StarVR thing from my understanding.
