Someone else can go into more detail about it.
Hopefully they'll be less enemies in future updates, and they'll get back reinforce groups that were deleted.
There has been ton of changes to Payday 2 since 2015.
Did you really think there wouldnt be?
Uh,bruv,it's AI. Artifical Intellegence. Not Intellegence Artifitial.
Thats actually good? Cause L4D2 actually can get quite difficult even on normal if team doesnt cooperate.
I cleared whole wave under 5 seconds and Assault ended.
Seems like you are not killing cops fast enough.
Here is screenshot of second assault(bots were in the room on right) : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1324382605
It was kinda hard to make since they were meleeing me left and right :D But yeah I might understand this might be a little overwhelming for new/returning players.
The two games have a pretty different combat dynamic, though, which makes the comparison break down.
While both are designed to accentuate co-op, l4d enemies are almost entirely melee-based. Pd2 enemies overarchingly use hitscan weapons at range, meaning that whether or not the player takes damage is much more RNG. In this setting, massively increasing the number of enemies, or enemy damage at range, breaks the gameplay.
Imagine l4d if all the infected were shooting you.
Payday 2 despite having ranged enemies is way too easy compared to L4D2 due to variety of OP builds and highly modifiable guns.
L4D doesnt have perk decks, inspire, armors, ability to carry more than one aid kit at time or means to regenerate health from kills etc etc
True i would prefer more tactical approach with the AI but meh more cops dont change much
