It's Payday
Where can I get a clean download of the in game version of It's Payday? The downloadable version on the PAYDAY: The Animated Series website is a different version. (Why?) The lyrics are a bit different, and it replaces the player chorus chanting "Payday" with Simon saying "Payday." I'd rather listen to it with the player chorus.

Compare the lyrics after the intro, line by line, they are different.

Download:
We had been planning it forever
Divided all the tasks
Got the gear and all the weapons
And some wicked masks

We shot the place up
Get their attention
We set the drill up
To steal the pension

Seems they forgot to check the date
'Cause it's
Payday


In Game:
They had been planning it forever
Divided all the tasks
Got their gear and all their weapons

They busted through the door
And shot the place up
Got people on the floor

Compare the chorus. The in game version sounds like a score of voices chanting Payday, in the download it sounds like Simon.

I left a download link in the description for the .wav file I used in the video, so use that if you don't like Youtube's compression system.

For real.

My guess is that one was a mock up, and the other was the final version, and they accidentally used both. I hope the one with the player chorus was the final version. It's better. Especially since my voice is in there some where. :D

Oooooooh, if you check the properties of the .mp3 from the website, it says that it was created in 2015. Just an interesting observation...

B) Maybe that one was made first, and then Simon asked for fan submissions for the chorus later?

Right-click Properties > Details.

Right-clicking on the file on the website, or after on my HD after I download it? After I download the file, and check the details, it says today, not 2015. When I try right clicking the file on the website, it doesn't show me any of that stuff.

For a raw file, do the Konami code on the April Fool's site. That'll give you a full download of 4 minute plus version. Yes, I'm serious

Ah I wasn't very clear. Once you've downloaded the file (from the website) and you right-click and hit properties, it'll tell you it was created whenever you downloaded the file. However if you right-click, hit properties and then the details tab, the date will clearly read 2015. I think that's the date Simon (or whoever) entered themselves manually.

Yeah, that's the downloadable version from the Payday: The Animated series website I was talking about in the OP. It's not the same as the in game version, and it's not as good, because it doesn't actually use the player chorus for the Payday chant.
