Can everyone see skin mods in PayDay 2

i try asking players but no one answers,
so if u could be so kind as to tell me how it actually works that would be really great

Mods as in the in game weapon skins and stuff like silencers? Yes, those can be seen.

Modifications to the weapon's game files to alter their skin or appearance? No, unless they have the same one installed.

it only replaces the default textures in your game, others wont be able to see it, unless it's an official skin from the steam inventory.

I doubt it. I think it only works on client side such as L4D2, so we don't have to download others skins mod to playing together.

what about weapon mods? like a post up there, silencers barrels and stuff like that, people can see those right

they see the weapon mods, but not the modded textures

ok, one last question then i'll shut up, this one guy earlier had a hexagon shaped barrel for the minigun, is that a mod or is it a hidden attachment thingy. and if it is a mod, where can i get mods others can see???

thats one of the weapon mods for the XL 5.56 microgun
