fast reload crossbow?

In a game I was in earlier I was reloading my heavy crossbow really fast, in like a second, however I dont think there is a perk for that? How did I do it?

Bloodthirst halves the reload time, a bot perk speeds it up by an additional 50%. Sharpshooter also has a perk that increases your reload speed with headshot kills, but I don't know if it works for crossbows. The Sharpshooter skill does not affect Crossbows.

bows dont trigger agressive reload, but if you kill something with smg on single the reload lasts 4 seconds and you can switch to bow and reload it. also lock n' load used to work every other kill.

Host most likely has the AI boost for faster reloading active.

There is an AI boost which allows you to reload and swap weapons 50% faster. Odds are you were under its effects.
