What to do with silencers now?
So since specialized killing is gone, tbh good riddance, I didn't really enjoy that meta too much.

What is gonna happen with all the bigger silencers, as in, what is the incentive to use the bigger silencers that aren't really viable for stealth: Monolith suppressor, The bigger the better suppressor, sniper suppressors.

Whats the point of using them now? Theres no point in using any silencer except ones that are less than -2 concealment now, and no point into bringing them into loud.

Its not a complaint, just a question, I never really liked SK, but some skins (e.g. Flying Pelican) have suppressors as a part of the skin itself, and without any sort of incentive of using a suppressor, that kinda renders a part of the skin as not needed.

Iunno, I guess since we have the buff now we can use suppressors as a sort of handicap or something, due to the fact that we'd be missing out on some good stability from all the other compensators, but those are just my thoughts.

Silencers encourage police to not take notice of you. On DW and below where people tend to actually use armor, you can find a great advantage when you are using a suit. The police will ignore you in favor of the big guy with the loud gun.

Well if you are like me and hate the loud noise sometimes, you can slap on the silencer.

So much interesting answers....

The Bigger the Better Suppressor is the best barrel extension to improve a weapons stability and accuracy if you can spare the points for "The Professional". Perfectly fine for especially LMGs.

Silencers on Snipers always prevented Cops from doing the dodge jump to the ground. So you know where they are when you come back from cover that you took for however long the repeating of you gun took, instead of them being somewhere or on the ground.

So yes, there is still use for them.

As Neon mentioned, the smaller threat can be a good way to not get the cops to move out when you're trying to get a burst of headshots (although staggering is still an issue, I assume). Another is the bonus that the professional can give, which is very useful for LMGs and weapons with lower accuracy, such as the JP36, SIG SG 556 (dunno the PD2 name) or Bootleg.

More then that, don't forget suppressors like the Jungle Ninja Suppressor, where the only real downside is a concealment loss, unless you're looking to draw attention from the cops.

Supressors are still pretty good due to the stab and acc increase.
