can someone recap what has happened since the prison nightmare update?

havent played since halloween 2016 and alot has changed i tried to read through all the updates but its alot and most of it are nerfs and buffs im just looking to know major stuff and stuff like the alaskan heist snow suit, thanks in advance.

well, since Xmas 2017 there is now a grenade launcher for everyone.
when doing the alaskan deal our clothing is replaced by snow suits.
a future update is going to change some skills. one of the changes is the removal of silent killer, no more 30% damage increase for using a silencer.

payday 2 VR is a thing.

with alaskan deal, resevoir dogs and brooklyn bank, the payday story has progressed.

EDIT:and why does only golden dallas and chains exist? just like paycheck only for those two what about wolf or houstons mask(original hoxton mask idk)

oh yeah the halloween heists are permanent things now.

They havent made a golden wolf/houston mask yet.

I should also mention that this is the final year Payday 2 will recieve content, all of it is free

Long and involved, but skinny is this: DMRs have less pickup, Arbiter + Puff do less damage, Swan Song is down to 6 seconds for Aced, Minigun and Flamethrower are usable now, Judge has more ammo but dreadful pickup. LMGs are god tier.

Kento was never found. However, we know where he is - he's with the Yakuza.

Why should it? Support will be (re)continued just like every other year. The support for the game won't end anytime soon, not until payday 3 comes out.
