1. The game is competitive
2. The servers are run by the company
3. Modding can result in profit loss
Otherwise it should be up to the players to decide how to play the game.
Stuff like theft/piracy should be dealt with properly though.
I met stupid on the internet before on this scale that was meant seriously, so I'm prone to taking everything at face value. You can't underestimate stupidity. Better safe than sorry.
Quit connecting with modding as cheating unless the mod is just a flat out cheat. Cheaters are the real cheesy sack of ♥♥♥♥♥ we should scorn rather than ♥♥♥♥♥ at someone using a mod that announces convert dmg, downs, and when drills are done. To put it simple, cheating is the issue not modding. Reminds me of people who cry that skips, glitches, and exploit abusers are cheaters too. But hey shoving a civie's head inside of a printer is enough to make him invisible to the naked eye. Remember cheating is the bad thing, not modding alright bud?
There was this guy, he had something really powerful cheat pack. We played Bank Heist. As soon as we entered the map, he killed every single NPC with a single keystroke. Then he somehow managed to teamkill me with explosive bullets from not a shotgun. Then he opened the vault without the drill. Then he flew away, to the escape van.
I laughed my ass off.
Every hack is a mod. Not every mod is a hack.
IMO Silent Assassin and Carry Stacker are hacks...
