You might also have to beat the story line, or even a few "starter" jobs, such as visiting your safe house and completing Jewerly Store and Bank Heist: Cash. One last solution is to verify your game files; you can do this by right-clicking any game (in this case,
You can either climb up the ranks yourself, or get a friend with an already preexisting high CS to boost you; if it's the latter, you only have to do one heist to get a huge catch-up bonus (that is, of course, if your own personal rank is lower or equal to the host's rank). This means that, even if you simply rush Shadow Raid and beat it in under 100 seconds, you'll still get that outrageously powerful reward. Ideally, to ensure you're effectively gaining a lot of coins, you should be playing at CS 5000 or higher.
In Crime Spree, you only have to get the minimum required amount of loot to escape; getting more than the minimum requirement is merely wasting everyones' time, as it does not affect your reward at all. Remember that you will have to claim your rewards every time you beat a heist, thus starting your spree over again, albeit the host should keep their spree active.
If you don't feel like grinding or exploiting the system, then is your best method of getting CCs, especially if you just want to buy, for example, a suppressor for your pistol but aren't getting lucky with the Payday card drop screen and/or the Offshore Payday system.
Some good heists for quick coins are as follows, in order from most to least effective:
[DSOD+SS+ALP] Diamond Store = ~800k XP in under 10 minutes, thus at least 4 coins in an hour.
[DSOD+SS+ALP] Bank Heist: Any (Cash, Gold, Deposit, Random) = ~600k XP in approximately 10-15 minutes, thus between 2 and 3 coins in an hour.
[DSOD+SS+MLR] Shadow Raid = ~375k XP in around 20 minutes, depending on how quick and efficient you are at stealth. At least one coin an hour.
