Have you been into your new safe house once? Iirc the Continetal Coins won't be activated if you haven't been there at least 1 time.

Sorry. What I mean is the story line. You should finish the storyline called: "A Safe Haven" so the continetal coins will start and will be counted. (Link for the reference: https://payday.fandom.com/wiki/Story_Line )

That is quite strange. All I could think about is some mods that may block the continental coins to be in your procession normally. If you do have some. Try to disable them.

Go to the achievement screen, there to milestones and claim them.

Abbreviations:
CC = Continental Coin
DSOD = Death Sentence + One Down
EXP = Experience point
Lvl = Reputation level
CS = Crime Spree
ALP = All Loot Possible
MLR = Minimum Loot Required
SS = Solo Stealth

Potential missing coin rewards solutions:
Are you absolutely sure that you have checked every in-game menu, including the safe house and achievements menu? Achievement milestone coin rewards should be rewarded to you upon opening the achievements menu. Try restarting your computer, the Steam Client and the game itself. Remove any BLT mods that may or may not be conflicting with the process of unlocking CCs.

You might also have to beat the story line, or even a few "starter" jobs, such as visiting your safe house and completing Jewerly Store and Bank Heist: Cash. One last solution is to verify your game files; you can do this by right-clicking any game (in this case, :P::A::Y::TheD::A::Y::2:) in the library, properties, local files and clicking the button that says "Verify game files", or something like that.

Usage of Continental Coins and methods of obtaining them:
Continental Coins can be used in various ways, such as buying Gage Boosts in Crime Spree, buying non-achievement-locked weapon modifications and, of course, upgrading rooms in your Safe House. However, not everyone is able to easily obtain them, especially if you are a low level. Here are some ways you can obtain CCs, listed in chronological order:

How to get A LOT of coins
The best and semi-reliable method of obtaining millions, if not, trillions of coins is by using Crime Spree (CS). It's not exactly the most legitimate method and most certainly isn't favoured by most of the community, but it doesn't require you to modify your game or change any files to get to quite a high CS rank.

You can either climb up the ranks yourself, or get a friend with an already preexisting high CS to boost you; if it's the latter, you only have to do one heist to get a huge catch-up bonus (that is, of course, if your own personal rank is lower or equal to the host's rank). This means that, even if you simply rush Shadow Raid and beat it in under 100 seconds, you'll still get that outrageously powerful reward. Ideally, to ensure you're effectively gaining a lot of coins, you should be playing at CS 5000 or higher.

In Crime Spree, you only have to get the minimum required amount of loot to escape; getting more than the minimum requirement is merely wasting everyones' time, as it does not affect your reward at all. Remember that you will have to claim your rewards every time you beat a heist, thus starting your spree over again, albeit the host should keep their spree active.

How to get an average amount of coins
A semi-decent way of obtaining one-off coins is by unlocking Safe House trophies and reaching achievement milestones; which are presumably in this order: 100, 250, 500 and 1000.

If you don't feel like grinding or exploiting the system, then is your best method of getting CCs, especially if you just want to buy, for example, a suppressor for your pistol but aren't getting lucky with the Payday card drop screen and/or the Offshore Payday system.

How to get a few coins
Every one million (1,000,000) experience/XP points earned, you will gain a Continental Coin as a reward. This means that, if you were to go from reputation 0 to 100 and not spend any coins whatsoever, you would have amassed at least 23 coins, as you need a total of approximately 23,300,000 EXP to reach reputation level 100. Also note that you can still obtain more coins after reaching the maximum level of 100; it's just that you won't get more than 120 skill points.

Some good heists for quick coins are as follows, in order from most to least effective:
[DSOD+SS+ALP] Diamond Store = ~800k XP in under 10 minutes, thus at least 4 coins in an hour.
[DSOD+SS+ALP] Bank Heist: Any (Cash, Gold, Deposit, Random) = ~600k XP in approximately 10-15 minutes, thus between 2 and 3 coins in an hour.
[DSOD+SS+MLR] Shadow Raid = ~375k XP in around 20 minutes, depending on how quick and efficient you are at stealth. At least one coin an hour.

Conclusion:
Continental coins are VERY useful. Ensure you always have a good pile of coins ready to spend, and acknowledge the many ways of how you can get more if you ever run out. Hope this helps. :overkill:
