There is no logic...
Fair point. I think it's semantics biting me in the ass here. What I meant to say is that the heists aren't trying to repeat exerpts from the plot within the implied context of the plot. They repeat the setup and dynamics of specific scenes, but within completely different context. We're going through similar motions, but they don't tie into the plot of the movie. Sorry for the ambiguous language.
