Any alternative and legal way to unlock DLC items?
I like Payday. I own most of the DLC (at least the ones I could buy).

But I'm not a PD2 hardcore player, I play just for fun.
I'll never try to get 551 achievements (and counting) specially because some of them are repetiive or count on RNG and this is not my personal concept of fun.

Then I realized a LOT of my DLC items still locked, even though I paid real money for it.

So I'm wondering: Is there an alternative and legal way to unlock those Items I've paid for without having to chase the achievements?

Item drops or something I missed on the new updates?

No, there isn't.

Offically no, but kinda.

you get one safe drop a week you can either sell the safe on the market or open it and sell the item. you can save these funds to buy the DLC you don't own.

But unless you get luck and unbox a legendary skin and sell it, you won't make like 4.99 or 6.99 for months.

Yes, actually. There's a mod for unlocking the achievements solo, which you can then edit to make it reward anything you like. So you could, for instance, get that AK magazine by completing a bank job rather than 4 players doing Firestarter.

Let's Google together and see what we find out using the sparse terms of "Payday 2 solo achievement mod"

It might even be romantic.

Wrong. OP is talking about not owning said DLC. unlocking the DLC based achivements won't do anything for them as they wouldn't have the DLC in the first place.

It's like you can't do the gage historical hoxton breakout achivement unless you own that DLC.

PS: Thanks for deleting my post mods. Wasn't aware DLC weapon mod achievements are taken THAT seriously.

Incorrect. OP owns the DLC.

But no, all achivements must be completed in order to get the rewards.

the only way to unlock the dlc mods is doing the achievements
just go to the crew and clan forum and ask help for the achievemetns

Find a group who are willing to help grind achievements (XXV-100's are a decent bet, as they aren't playing for levels anymore).

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LOOK FOR OR DOWNLOAD ANY FILES WHICH MAY GIVE YOUR CHARACTER AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE and play in offline mode only and don't give yourself everything at once like a dumbass.

Oh cool they did the same to me, pretty lame tbh I mean the system was kinda crap to begin with so sorry for trying to help someone circumvent it

Thanks for your answers, guys.

Yes, I was talking about the items on DLC's I already own.

Although I think this practice is not nice, I don't want to use any illegal ways to unlock content.
At this time I don't have any hopes that they change this or give us an alternative.

But it's a shame when I see a set of rad masks like those on the scarface pack, for example, and realize that even if I pay for the content I'll never have it. It's disistimulating.
Some weapon skins come with mods that can let you use them without finishing achievements. For example, I didn't have the achievement Bullet Hose but was still able to use the light barrel on the Buzzsaw 42 because I was using the Meat Slicer skin.

This isn't exactly a viable option however, as the skins with preconfigured weapon loadouts are all pretty rare, which can go for quite a bit of money on the Market.

If you think you'll never have most of the content, that I wonder how the hell you're playing. I already have three of the four masks unlocked (as one is unlocked by default) and the fourth is the stealth speedrun achievement which I don't have because I haven't simply figured out the map itself enough to do it quickly. As in, I did ONE stealth run.

Plus it would be incredible boring if you just got everything handed to you - the first few weapons were like that and it wasn't really great. The weapons then got a proper level limit after that and we got our masks locked behind pretty easy achievements.

It's not 'illegal' it's just frowned upon for the sole reason that Payday 2 moderators have absolutely no way of dealing with cheaters outside of looking for simultaneous achievement unlocks, which then makes said achievements held in high regard when in actuality they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

What achievements do you actually need to unlock what you want?

If playing with 4 players, the speed run can be done by simply ECM rushing once you unlock the house.

I like achievements, some are fun and I have a nice amount of them. But I want to do only the ones that I consider funny. As I said before I'm not a hardcore player.

The scarface pack was just one example and is one of the DLCs I don't own.

Personally, I don't think it would be boring if they unlock everything from begining, specially masks and parts. But they can still lock some items behind something else like the game money, behind offshore money or even create a new unity like those points to upgrade the safehouse.

Or lock only the free items and keep the DLC available from the start.

It's nice they keep launching new achievements, but not as a barrier to the items.

Locked items and nerfing paid items/perks are the only reasons I stopped supporting and buying DLC's at full price. And now maybe even at discounted price.
It's really frustrating to me.
