Local Co-OP?

It would say "local" on the store page if more than one player on the same system would be supported in any way.
It doesn't say that, making it clear that Coop is online only.

well your going to be searching for sometime then cos there is no game that has this 'Online Co-op'

oops sorry tell a lie, it does have online co-op and Payday 2 shows up in it when I searched, so not mis-labeled

If a game allows split screen it would say so. Those games usually also say local coop.

Except Coop only means Coop Mode - the store has a seperate label if Local gameplay at the same machine is support at all.
Coop does not mean "local coop", it means Coop in general.
It's not mislabeled, you're just interpreting it wrong. Your fault, not Steam.

Serious Sam has the Tag for
Multiplayer (competitive, PvP Mode)
Coop (Cooperative, PvE Mode)
Splitscreen (Due supporting splitscreen mode)

Showing that the Splitscreen is a seperate, independent tag from Coop in Steam and always has been.
And the "Local" Tag is used for Local Network (Lan) games.

Just to add more proof onto that:

It has the Splitscreen Tag (due players being able to play at the same machine), but no the coop one due being a purely competitive game.
