PC and PS4 players play together?

So the thing i want to ask is can a PS4 player join a PC player on payday?

PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are DEAD.
Nintendo Switch version is still in the works or maybe no Idk
PS4 and Xbox One versions are getting slowly updated, not catching up with PC
Overkill is focusing on PC. So you can't play for reasons.
Including how consoles gets updated slowly, so sorry it's a no.

We could finally be best buddies with the master race!!
Overkill could add an update ( PC will get it first) that would allow us to hold hands and skip through the street on Hox breakout. Then we could have a romantic candlelight dinner at that fecking hot dog stand that pops up sometimes at the jewelry store.

People want this option for many games but I cant think of any game that has it as an option. I could be wrong here.

People up there ^^^ are right about content.
I'm a pessimist and I see the issue of content for us 2 ways..
1. We will never get it all.
They will drop it just like they dropped last gen.
2. According to Almir, Overkill loves console heisters even more than I love Betty Buttplug, my inflatable sex doll / future wife.
Hell yes we will get all the PC content...
...a day or 3 after Payday 6 is released.

cross plattform play between PC and console is never a good idea.

iirc microsoft tested PC and Xbox360/Xbone crossplay with a PvP shooter and console players got devastated (no wonder) and it was stopped after the testing phase.

seeing this game as a PvE game I still don´t see it as a good idea

I would love for this to be an option for PD3. I actually would love to see the next version of Payday be updated evenly across the boards. Cause then I would just go back to consoles to be honest.

Pretty sure War Thunder still does crossplay, And have done so for a while now.
On the PC version in a match if you see someone with an * infront of there name they are a PS4 player.

PvE is the game type to do it for.

DC Universe Online is only playable on PC because of Crossplay with Playstation. Otherwise the player count would be too low.

Rocket league has crossplay, so does Minecraft. As long as it isn't directly P.V.P focused it would work.
