The heist is hard to stealth, I agree. And somewhat unpolished, these rare but annoying spikes of instant detection...
The main problem is not the heist itself, its rewards. For this amount of work you will get quite mediocre amount of money and exp.
What's XP? What's $?
I have no need of such boring things.
Just wish it had waaay more RNG. Like you can always guarantee there's one civilian in the archives, one guard in the locker room, no one inside the managers office, no one in the delivery room, the same room for the fireworks etc etc. Just about the only RNG the heist has is the drinks and the pit boss briefcase which everyone bypasses with Annie anyway. Tchah.
There's 5 guards in the security room and something like 10 guards dotted around the map, I think. Can't remember. You have two on one side of the casino, two on the other side, they stay outside. Then you get two that patrol the casino floor, walking around upstairs and downstairs around the edges, sometimes they end up static in corners though. Sometimes they patrol through the hotel room area and around near the reception area, though.
Honestly they have a huge patrol route and only a handful of guards to do it, it's kind of stupid really, should be more guards lol.
Then you have two guys who always patrol around the back area, and near the metal detectors, they're easy kills. There's also another two who like to patrol upstairs in the casino floor as well, but also check the back area as part of their route too. These are the four you kill, which completely cleans the back area entirely. The only way another guard would end up in the back area would be destroying a camera on Overkill or lower. The other two guards with the long patrol route can take a long time to show up because of the long patrol route.
Cams and guards will trigger on the open security room "breaking an entering" so they must be eliminated to ensure maximum safety. Like others have said, you only need to kill those guards, the rest are just brain dead and present no challenge.
The real challenge is the 49 cameras dotted around, you just gotta learn their blind spots though. One such blind spot I use/abuse is in the little metal detector hallway, if you shoot the a guard between the metal detector and the steps up into the back area, the camera can't see him. Easy elimination without needing ECMs.
Bleh.
Fun heist. Ignore the cash though. If you want cash, play Rats or Overdrill or Shadow Raid or something.
