Which Maps are best for snipers?

Its been awhile since coming back to this game, all the new dlc they added. Wanna try some fun builds out

If you mean maps best for using snipers, honestly all of them, just concentrate on hitting multiple targets instead of killing single units.

If you mean for FIGHTING snipers, dockyard has a bunch of them.

If you mean for killing snipers, the best map is Big Bank, C4 Escape. 4 snipers respawning every 30 seconds or so.

If you mean for using a sniper, any really. The snipers don't work at long range lol. I've tried sniping from the top of the construction yard on Green Bridge using a sniper set up for as much accuracy and zoom possible, with a Grom, Contractor and Lebensauager, it just isn't accurate enough or has enough range to hit targets at long distance. Can't explain it, just a let down.

Medium and close range works though, and most maps handle those easily enough. Heat Street is a good one. Beneath the Mountain is decent once you get out of the vault area? Mostly you want maps where you can get a good angle on the enemy spawn or there's a bottleneck the cops funnel into that you can shoot through and get plenty of collaterals, like The Diamond, or Undercover etc.

Have you tried not using a scope (switch to ironsights)/ignoring the scope sway (I heard it doesn't actually affect your shots)?

The two snipers I used where the western one and the free Platupus sniper, both of which I could easily snipe at long distance with (using ironsights, scope just messes me up)

If you intend to snipe at mid-long range, might I add, the best sights are probably the Recon or ACOG. Those offer the highest zoom without the annoying sway of the sniper scopes.

That aside, generally speaking, most snipers that have Irons have pretty nice irons at that. It's ultimately a matter of personal preference unless you have some type of restriction like having to hit a specific DR for a dodge build.

i used to run R98 for awhile on OD,but recently changed to Platypus(cause got a good skin on it). I dont see why u need special maps to play sniper rifles. Exploit spawns and hit headshots.

For sniper farm run Big Bank with c4 escape. After u breached the wall with c4 you will have endless farm of them.

Big Oil day 2 and Heat street are nice maps for sniping practice.

I always liked watchdogs for using them its a really cool map. Also firestarter day 1, dockyard, forest, hotline miami day 1, birth of sky...

Hotline Miami d1 has nice long range sightlines

Aftershock is pretty long range for sniping, so is Goat Sim and Bomb: Forest (lol ikr?). White Xmas is pretty large to snipe stuff too.

Ukranian job/jewelry store has a nice platform overlooking the front entrance that is good for giving sniper support. The Biker Heist day one has a sniper position too and Goat Simulator Heist gives some open areas for sniper support.
