However, to actually try and answer your question:
The guy that updates blt works at overkill under the name or alias Wilko (I presume name) unless I am mistaken. Anywho, this is why we got a patch within hours if not sooner of the update introducing luajit. Speaking of luajit, this is why your mods don't work. Not because blt updated, but because overkill changed how modding worked at a core level. If you want to make your mods stop crashing your game, then I suggest learning to code yourself or wait until the mod authors update their versions. If the mod itself works with blt 2.0 currently but you cannot access the options, then go into the code and manually change the options if you can. I am not sure how to do this for every mod, but I do know that usually the mod author would make an option some kind of changeable value in a line of code that clearly references the option itself. Use notepad and try reading the lua you may be surprised to find it isn't that hard. Think of it as math.
Yes, i know, that's what i said at the beginning, but then they confused me. Why would you rework mods system after 5 years of game existance? Thy knew from the start that it will ruin a lot of mods... And yes, i tried changing mod options manualy, it works sometimes, but it's too inconvenient and most of them still won't work... ever-ever again T_T
i cri evri tim
Some mods may still work if they are compatible with the mod override system, try that for some of your broken mods.
so uh yeah
back to Fallout New Vegas or some easier game
Cya
That helps
So maybe ask mod creators why they dont update their own mods?
Protip, Jimbo: if your mods are outdated, it's the creators' fault. Overkill can be blamed for a lot of things, but this isn't one of them. Think a little before making one of those blog posts that could be solved with a simple search. My BLT is working fine after I updated to the latest version, and ALL my mods are working correctly.
