If so, you only have the base game, but DLC for it are locked through Ultimate Edition, so, that means you need to buy it.
Buy the bundle to unlock the rest of the content.
Got it. Bundle is needed to unlock. How about the developers fix this misleading message?
And then I saw some interesting DLC, and wanted to buy it, but all it said I had to buy the whole game again and all the DLC I already had...
Wanted to make a fuzz about it, until I found in my history I only paid 5.60 euro for the game.
To be clear: I do not really like the game so far, but it might chance. Since all my progress was already "corrupt" I had to restart anyway. So I will delete the copy until my next round.
Hah, I still made some fuzz about it :-).
No disrespect to the developers, if I liked the game, I would have easily shelled out 90 euros.
It's not my game type, and sometimes I shell out money for games I do not really feel comfortable with, to support the developers. Paying 5.60 was actually more of an insult to the developers though, but the 40 euro is to steep for me right now for a game I have no feeling for. The engine and graphics is very good though.
But as I said, on my next round on trying something else from my list, and I do get into it, I really don't care if the pack is 40 or 90 euro. I remember from my first 15 minutes of Saints Row VI I felt like "oh no, what have I bought", as it felt like a shooter on rails, or a very interactive novel. But that was just the tutorial. After the tutorial/intro ended, I was hooked.
Maybe payday2 needs some more getting into before I get hooked. If at that moment the bundle is 90 euro, so be it.
Without the bundle, you will fork over $200 for all the content.
Linux (Steam OS) got everything windows has.
What the hell else would "platform" mean?
My original issue is that after a long time of having this game, but never having played it, I got confronted with the message "buy the ultimate edition" while I have the ultimate edition.
So for people like me it feels weird. What you as community already have decided as a good deal doesn't feel like a good deal to people who have never played this, but decide to try it out. It has been sitting there since 2015.
So I needed to read up on this forum to learn what has happened. And yes, the deal is good, and as I merely insulted the developers at 2015 by paying a mere 5.60 for the game and the dlc at that time, but I had to go into my invoice history to find out the rate I got it for. Even then it was not my kind of game... Maybe next year when I try again, I will feel the sparkle.
For now I have too much on my shelf, and I am pre-occupied with Ark (good game, very bad engine, combined still worth the 40 euro I paid for it)
Have fun, as I think you guys love this game. I do not hate this game. I just wanted to confirm how weird it feels to find the things as they are now. Not a bad thing in the end, but it will result in bad reviews from those that did not read up on that on the forums, and that did buy the original game, aiming to buy some of the dlc.
Also, I still want to know what the hell you mean with "platform"
