Why do we dislike Tom *Rust* Bishop, The Biker

Tom Bishop, or Rust, was a HIGHLY anticipated character to join the PAYDAY crew once announced that Ron Perlman would voice act him. However once he did join the community really started to turn negitive towards the addition of the character. I'm not saying that I wasn't part of that group myself but what all did those with negitive views on the character dislike about Rust in specific?

His writing is ♥♥♥♥. Half of it is the same line with a few words swapped out.

Took what could've been a cool character and made it into a wasted opporunity. Profanity doesn't bother me, but his is excessive and I'd argue that he has more profanity works than non in his dialogue, it wouldn't surprise me. Lazy writing.

The only other two characters I dislike are Sydney and Jimmy mainly because they are extremely loud, otherwise their dialogue isn't bland like Rusts.

I never really saw a lot of hate for him. Some like him, some don't. Same goes for every character though. I liked him, although I wish the lines were a little more varied. A lot of his special callouts are the same.

I also don't hate him, I think he's my most or 2nd most played heister, I stopped playing him though after the dialogue started getting dull for me. Probably one of my favorite things about him is the unique 'suit' he wears. Wish all the heisters had something like that.

It doesn't fit with the lore, you know, the lore that Overkill obviously cares about.

I don't know who to blame, Ron non interest performance or bad written lines, i know ron can voice acting pretty damn good, but in payday as rust seems so lack luster so boring.

He's an okay characther, but i feel the main selling point is more ron pearlman than writing or anything else

I liked the character a lot but his lines revolve around ♥♥♥♥♥ a lot... so not so much a fan of that.

Overrated because of voice actor, OVK should stop using celebrities for VO if they cant keep them up2date.

Nothing tickles me as much as ♥♥♥♥ jokes, the only exception being egg jokes.

I mainly like the sleeves and gloves Rust uses. However, like a lot of people said, his lines are pretty bland and to make up for that, lots of swearing is used. I don't really have anything against swearing but it is similar to Rogue Warrior. Nothing really charming about Rust's dialogue in loud heists.
