Lion's Roar AR good?

I'm interested in buying the DLC containing Lion's Roar because it seems to fit what I'm looking for in an AR. Good ammo, decent damage, good RoF, and good stability and accuracy. Concealment isn't a concern for me.

Is the gun actually good?

Just did a bit more research on it, is the ammo pickup that bad for this weapon even with fully loaded?

If that's the case I might just go with the Car-4 instead and buy the AK/Car DLC.

It's about on par if not worse than the AMR-16 with DMR kit. I don't remember who said it, but I totally agree in that you have to "think of it as a grenade launcher with an AR attached, rather than an AR with a grenade launcher attached."

They have the same ammo pickup.

Yes, performns very well on difficulties below OD. Very accurate and has almost no recoil.

Same pickup as the CAR-4 since they are both 150 ammo rifles.

Thanks guys for your help, decided to go with the AK/Car DLC for the DMR kit. Better decision imo.
