but why
a silencer is nice if trying learn stealth
Once you start doing Crime Spree you get a lot of CC. Only need 6 to start Crime Spree, and it is only after playing it a lot you start using coins for reroll and perks...
Im still really green when it comes to this game. To put it into perspective i think iv only completed like 5 heists lol
I did stealth the jewelry store one first time which made me happy. It reminds me of SWAT with all the shouting :)
You can buy most weapon modifications using 6 continental coins each. Some modifications are unlocked by achievements. If you cannot purchase a weapon mod with coins, it is an achievement mod.
You get continental coins in multiple ways:
You get progress towards earning a coin whenever you complete a heist. Heists that reward more experience will award more progress towards earning a coin.
You get 6 coins for completing a Safehouse Raid on any difficulty.
You get 6 coins for completing any daily safehouse mission.
You get 6 coins for completing any safehouse trophy, which can be viewed in the Upgrade Safehouse menu.
You get coins from collecting your rewards from a Crime Spree. The amount of coins gained is based off of how many heists you completed/your current Crime Spree rank.
You can spend continental coins in a few ways:
You can spend 6 continental coins for most weapon modifications that aren't achievement-unlocked modifications.
You spend 6 continental coins to start a Crime Spree at rank 0, and more continental coins to start at higher ranks.
You can spend 12 continental coins to upgrade a room in the safehouse to Tier 2, and 24 more to upgrade to Tier 3.
You can spend 18 continental coins during a Crime Spree to buy Gage Boosts, that add perks to assist you in your current Crime Spree heist.
You can spend a LOT of coins to continue a Crime Spree at the rank you last failed / redeemed your rewards at. I would not recommend this.
Another good way to get weapon modifications is to collect packages, however this requires Ultimate Edition (or the Gage Mod Courier DLC if you bought it before UE came out). Collecting packages scattered around the map during heists will eventually give you weapon modifications.
In my opinion, getting modifications from card drops at the end of heists is a really long and boring way to try and get modifications. If you have a lot of spare offshore money, you can gamble it away for weapon modifications with the Offshore Payday button in Crime.net. However, this method requires a lot (millions!) of dollars in your offshore account.
In my opinion, the best way to get continental coins quickly is to grind Safehouse Raid. You can set Crime.net's search filters to only show Safehouse Raid heists by pressing F on Crime.net.
If you want a lot of continental coins all at once, try to do a Crime Spree and get to a high rank. I managed to get to rank 274 and got 181 continental coins. However, you will probably need a good build to survive that far, and definetely a friend or two. If you fail a Crime Spree heist, you will not be allowed to continue unless you pay a LOT of continental coins. I personally wouldn't recommend this unless you are at level 100, and have quite a few coins to spare (more than 50 at least).
Please correct me if I'm wrong about anything I wrote above.
Just want to add few things here.
1. You get 1 continental coin for every 1 million exp you earn.
2. If you want to get cards fast, grind jewlery store heist on normal. You need 2 upgraded ECM's to do so
Mask up when you start heist and deploy ecm, get 3 bags, thrown 2 in van, deploy 2nd ecm, carry 3rd bag to escape.
Takes almost 20 seconds and you can get card drops like this.. Grind this for few minutesand you'll have few mods if you are lucky.
when was that done?
i remember when i moved to PC i had to play for 2 months before i finally got a silencer drop
