Payday 2 Switch exclusive content?
The biggest thing that comes to mind for me is that the Switch version will have amiibo support. Tapping certain amiibo gives you exclusive masks and skins. I also imagined what if there ends up being exclusive amiibo as well. I can easily imagine an amiibo of the Chibi Skulldozer

Dallas amiibo when?
If it were Payday3, you could have dreamed of it. Seeing what they have done with PS4 and Xbox versions, there would be only a discounted bundle with 1 or 2 Switch exclusive masks...

Or the game just wont utilize the amiibo

I can certainly see the appeal from a business strategy end but idk how much effort they're going to put into it. Given their trend of just having a mask or two in all other previous consoles, I'd at least make the safe bet on that being more than likely all that will happen.

They only have amiibos for nintendo games or more specifically nintendo brand games. So lol, no.
Suddenly, Fire Emblem characters in PD2.

There have been non Nintendo games that have gotten amiibo support and even figures based on Non Nintendo characters like Shovel Knight

I wonder how the controls will work for the Switch?

Shovel Knight got an amiibo figure and he isn't a Nintendo made character. Amiibo support is not mutually exclusive to Nintendo made games. Developers working on Wii U, or Switch can incoporate into their games if they so choose. Shovel Knight for example

Well that's one example, how many others are there exactly? Idk if Sonic technically counts or not but a numbers game would settle this issue. If Nintendo is the biggest producer of these things then it stands to reason the chances for PD2 amiibos is unlikely.

Or not, educate me.
