Yeah, pagers are easy to keep count of...in solo or with one friend. With 2 or 3 friends who are chatting and just having fun sometimes they forget how many pagers are left, and it's rare that we'll listen to the operator, because we'd usually want to get out of their with or without the body ASAP, leaving no time for listening to the obscure pager operator (He only lets you know when you've used your last one anyway)
Also, it may be irrelevant info, but still nice to know. I don't want to cheat or anything, I just want a bit more info, what's so wrong about that?
You recieve all your information you need if you pay enough attention to the game. The game gives you everything you need to know. Just learn where you have to recieve that information.
Yeah, the information you "need". I already said I just want more information, I'm not saying the game is broken and unplayable without it, I'm saying I'd just prefer to have more, I don't know why you care so much about what HUD elements I do and don't want.
Because any more information you're not supposed to see or have, is cheating.
Oh, so knowing how many seconds a lockpick takes is cheating? So if I don't have the mod and I count the seconds and remember that info, is that cheating?
It's not info you're not supposed to have, it's just info that they don't provide because it's not neccessary, and it could cause cluttering of the HUD making it look ugly for some people.
Cheating is being able to pick up multiple bags at once, or having infinite pagers, or having infinite turrets with explosive ammo (all of which I've seen) Looking at a pile of money and being able to see how much it's worth isn't cheating, it doesn't help me in anyway at all, it's just nice. To. Know.
Jesus.
If you wanna use it, its fine, afterall it doesn't give you free DLCs or unlocks achievements or anything.
Just be sure to download this version here: https://github.com/Kamikaze94/WolfHUD and follow the installation guides.
Thank you sir,
Finally, someone with some sense.
Feel free to ignore purists who try to talk you out of using HUD mods while you're at it. They're not cheats, so feel free to use whatever HUD mod works for you.
Knowing how many bags are left in the map is cheating as example. And how long you need to lockpick something is already included in the game.
I didn't even know showing how many bags left was an option in WolfHud, but even if it is, I won't be using it, I'll only use the ones I've listed. And sure, a circle slowly filling up is "showing me how long a lockpick will take" but i'd rather an actual timer.
