There's a separate skill tree for single fire weapons.
You can try. For example
A AK/CAR weapon with auto fire custom will automatic reload when 0/60 ammo without any command for that weapon to reload. But when that gun with single fire custom will NOT automatic reload when 0/60 but instead you have to click fire or reload in order to reload it.
This apply to crossbow, before when they are classified as an auto fire weapon, the game will automaticly reload when 0/50, that mean the game will reload when your magazine is empty. But now they change crossbow to single fire weapon that mean after you shoot, your magazine will be 0/50 and the game will NOT automatic reload for you. Instead you will have to manually click fire again or press reload key to put the arrow into the bow.
As mentioned before, I am not think remove the effect of BE for the bow is not an gamebreaking issue or something but when they do that, they are removing the capability of auto reload of that bow.
The closest to that is what happens when you go full auto with a weapon, which then performs a reload after emptying the magazine, but you're actually performing an extra input in order to get that reload too: The action of HOLDING the shoot button triggers a shot attempt which in return triggers a reload just like with a single fire weapon.
With that said, you're right in that the change the crossbows had means that you now have to click again after the shooting animation is over, which makes them more clunky to use.
That is how the automatic and semi-automatic weapons work, too.
If your pistol has a capacity for nine rounds in its magazine, and you click LMB exactly nine times to fire off those nine rounds, you're going to be running around with a pistol with zero bullets in the magazine. It doesn't auto-reload at that point.
Your weapon will only reload if you hit R (or whatever key you've mapped Reload to), or if you attempt to fire when there is not a round/arrow ready to be fired. Full-auto weapons may appear to auto-reload but it's because you're holding LMB when you hit 0 rounds in your mag, thereby trying to fire the weapon without a round ready to fire, so it reloads.
That's why your bow (and every other primary/secondary weapon) works that way.
Auto fire weapon when you have 1/60 and only click fire 1 more time, that bullet will run out of your chamber and the game automatic reload for you. I don't need to hold trigger button as you said.
But that logic won't work with single fire weapons.
So the auto reload function only work with the auto fire weapons. But why this function only work with auto fire weapons? Also this make using crossbow really clumsy.
I usually manually reload with snipers before the clip runs out.
Because today,OVK classified crossbows as single fire weapon not auto fire weapon anymore so that caused the problem to the bow not autoreload at 0 anymore.
Guns obviously have more than 1 bullet in their magazine so the problem of missing autoreload on single fire guns won't be tedious like crossbow.
hay yes i no what you mean the crossbows and pistol crossbow dosent auto reload now i have tested it and it only auto reloads randomly for me so it is broken have to reclik to reload makes a big differance was this intended i dont think so
