Tatonka and Rezkoye ?

Grom means thunder. Thats ok. But Tatonka and Rezkoye ? Really ? What kind of jibberish is that ? It is like calling a Thompson a FliptyFloptyFlop. I appreciate what you are doing Overkill, but this sounds really stupid. As for Rezkoye, the best comparison would be Overkek, i guess. Sounds familiar, but it doesnt make any sense.

I don't know, it sounds okay to me. But then, I don't speak Russian, so I cannot speak on the validity of the names. They seem sufficiently Russian-y from a non-Russian standpoint, is what I'm saying.

No idea what Tatonka means, but Rezkoye means 'sharp' (more like as fast/sudden). It doesn't make a lot of sense in russian as well.
It, actually, should be 'rezkiy' when talking about a knife.

My bad then. Thanks for the tip about Tatonka. However, i cant agree on Rezkoye. Sharp =/= shorp or shorb. Maybe they wanted to call it Rezak, but anyway, it is too late for a feedback.

Rezkoya is literally meaning "sharp", not your made-up stuff. It's not a meaning of sharp that would fit a knife, but it is an actual word that means something that (out of context) fits.

Internet translators are not ideal in this case. Closest english word for "rezkiy" is "harsh", whereas "sharp" means "ostryy" in russian. https://translate.google.com/#en/ru/Sharp%20knife

Wrong translation of "sharp". The more fitting one, but in this case "sharp" means "suddenly":

I am russian and I think that "rapid" is the best translation of Rezkoye(Резкое). Also "fast" and "fast-moving" can help you to understand this word. From the other hand you can translatee Rezkoye as "thing that can cut"

No, you cant call it "knife". Rezkoye is adjective, "Rezkoye" = just "fast", "rapid"
