best way to farm safes?

is there anyway to raise my chances of getting a safe? is it even a chance thing or a once every sertain number of days thing?

Once every six days, I believe. You can't farm them faster than that. There's also a playtime requirement, and if you don't play that number of hours in the last week, you won't be eligible.

You can get only 1 safe per week.

It's exactly 6 days now, I've been tracking it and it's consistent. Along with that, you will need to have played (or had the game open) for some minimum number of hours leading up to that 6th day. I've heard 10 hours, I've heard 4.

That's what it seems like most of the time, but there must be more to it than that. My brother hadn't played the game since before Prison Nightmare was released but I got him to play it again a couple nights ago. After we completed it, he got a John Wick safe. Go figure, I haven't even gotten one yet 'cause I got a Scarface safe a week ago and a Hoxton safe last night.

IIRC, this was actually changed. Only one of the accounts that family share the game can get a safe, including the owner.

That's what it seems like most of the time, but there must be more to it than that. Yes, there is something of a 'welcome back' safe. If you haven't played the game at all for for something like 10ish days, you will get a safe immediately. I was gone for about 12/13 days over Christmas break and got a safe on my first heist after I came back.

Create alternate accounts, give them Steam share access and wait for the Steam Market restrictions to be lifted on those new accounts. Then log onto them every week to get your safe.

Maybe. 'Course, I've had times where I don't play the game myself for more than 2 weeks and I can't seem to get a safe after several jobs, and I chalk it up to the prerequisite game time. It's definitely not consistent.

if you play 10h at least a week, you will get 1 safe a week. no way around it, or to make it faster....
