80 you shouldnt have too much trouble
90 youre fine
100 best but not necessary
pretty sure yeah. 100% accuracy
Yeah, 100 accuracy means 0 spread on any stance, even if you're hip-firing while running or whatever.
If you have a weapon with 84 accuracy and Stable Shot ace, you'll only have 0 spread when standing still, but it won't matter if you're using the sights or not.
80 on CAR-4 isn't the same as 80 on Valkyrie. Different spread cones (can't remember the config name) which are just adjusted by the accuracy modifier.
...so this is obviously FALSE.
Of course, it's the same for recoil where every gun has different patterns, but IIRC 100 stability means half the gun's recoil. The thing is, every gun shares the 0 spread thing, reaching 100 accuracy means they'll have 0 spread because it's multiplied by 0, so any stance modifier won't take effect.
A quick link to Franklstner's Long Guide : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=267214370
Confirms what Jon said.
(ctrl+f , search for 'spread' )
Well unless they changed it at some point, I'm pretty sure it works that way, at least from playing. And then there's the long guide:
The formula there is still 2*(1-accuracy/100)
So 2*(1-100/100) = 0
That was you actually.
I can assure you I've tested a few "100 in-game accuracy" guns and had different results.
(before eventually toning it down anyway)
Remember that stats displayed in-game are misleading, because...
...100 accuracy doesn't equal 100 % accuracy. Actually you can go "past" in-game 100, you just can't see it except for raising "+mod +skills" listings.
Thus if I understood you correctly, your logic doesn't apply solely because of that.
EDIT: repasted my last post into this one, so you won't miss it.
2*(1-accuracy/100) which with 100 accuracy means: 2*(1-100/100) or 2*(1-1) or 2*0. Which equals 0. So far, it seems that way when playing.
This works if you have a 84 weapon and apply a 20% accuracy bonus, which will result in 100 accuracy or 0 spread, as the Long Guide says. Even shotguns get 0 spread with 12 pellets (and end up hitting the exact same spot) when reaching 100 accuracy.
80 will hit practicaly any sniper within 3 shots.
but going above is normaly a waste of skills/atatchments since it wont be at all useful for the 97% of guys who are not snipers.
Your information is outdated. The Crimefest 2015 weapon rebalance standardised spread for most weapons. There are still exceptions so it does depend on the gun, but not to this extent. Excluding exotic weapons, all weapons have the same spread modifiers for stances, except shotguns which have double the spread for every stance. So an 80-accuracy CAR-4 is the same as an 80-accuracy Valkyria but not the same as an 80-accuracy Joceline, which would have double the spread.
Recoil profiles are somewhat standardised, since a lot of rilfes have the same, but there are no clear-cut standards to them that I can describe as easily as the above.
To the OP - I would suggest grabbing the More Weapon Stats mod. It can tell you what your weapon's spread is in degrees while in various stances. Easiest way to tell how accurate it is, I think.
Shotguns with flechette.
I'm serious! They are much easier to kill snipers with! I have 48 accuracy in my raven and can even handle goat heist snipers from a long distance.
You will be missed.
thats what i get from buying from a fleemarket
