the painting could be an bug or just not placed anywhere we can grab. I havent really given the map a complete run for the painting.
As for the painting, there is one as I mentioned, but I'm not aware of any way to actually get to it. In case you're wondering, it's on the main deck in the same area as the numbered rooms (where the 4 artifacts are), towards the front of the ship. There's a large glass display containing a statue and a map on the wall inside it, and the painting is inside the wall behind the map. In order to actually grab it, you need to enter the room behind it and delete the wall from the world. Deleting the wall and grabbing it doesn't trigger anything in particular, and attempting to secure it will simply result in it falling out of the map and respawning on the ship where you threw it off. Either there's a trigger somewhere to make it accessible and useful for something (though I've not found anything, nor have I looked), or it's simply a leftover asset that is not important. I'm leaning towards the latter.
Edit: I should mention that it's technically not actually a painting, but a light artifact like those in the museum (that look like paintings).
Edit 2: Screenshots with some custom debug waypoints in case you're interested.

it,s at the front desk area?
I've also tried to get that as well by grabbing through a wall like what might happen for gage packages (no luck). I've also tried to saw, shoot, and even blow up the glass with trip mines and they didn't work either. However, if you use trip mines near the glass, you can blow up the statue. =)
Edit: when you deleted the wall and grabbed the artifact / painting, did it count if you secured it on your back when you left?
I did not try completing the heist while carrying it. I don't think it particularly matters as I'm fairly sure you're not supposed to be able to access it in the first place. The museum also had a few of these artifact paintings that were spawned inside walls and couldn't be reached, but I'm not sure if that was fixed when they remade the map for the medieval DLC exhibit. Not to mention several other maps that have piles of money or gold outside the map bounds for no particular reason.
But the long and short of it is there are 7 artefacts and something that shows up as loot on HUD mods but actually isn't. Gotcha. Thank you kindly for the help.
As for the car on Alesso, it's actually for the forklift. The same would happen on meltdown, but I'm fairly certain I took care of that by ignoring that loot type.
I'll have to turn on that option for myself some time and check it out. My friend who always runs it is using the latest stable version of WolfHUD, which is from before Scarface, if not from Housewarming (I don't remember). Could be his display is picking up something you've fixed since. He does, however, always see an extra bag beyond what we can find on Hotline Miami Day 1. I looked up a guide on loot locations for that heist, checked all of them - nothing. The guide creator, however, suggested that that heist had something which "loot mods" would pick up but which can't be reached.
It's 5 AM now, but I'll have a look with loot aggregation disabled to see what that's all about.
I spent 40 minutes rubbing my face into everything on OD to find all the loot and eventually I ended up rubbing my face into a guard. He was not happy being mistaken for loot.
