Pro tip: it's at the back.
I already used the backdoor.
The curved stairs in the front of the shop will have a guard standing at the bottom, but you can access the second floor from the back stairwell instead (and you can get to that stairwell by picking the locked door inside the back of the car shop's first floor, from the outside door on the ground floor, or taking the winding metal staircase out back to the roof and going in the roof's doorway).
Car Shop is challenging because there are so many civs and guards packed into a small location. Trip Mines would be a good deployable to bring, High Value Target (Mastermind) is a good skill to have to increase the duration of highlights, and it might help you to check out the map using the roof skylights before moving inside.
As with any stealth heist, it just boils down to practice.
If you're still having trouble, try pulling up a video of someone stealthing it to give you an idea of what to do / where to go. Just keep in mind that one person's style of stealth may be different from another, so you may want to watch two or three videos if that's the route you take.
Car Shop is definitely made easier with more than one person, but is still very doable solo.
Good luck
Thanks, but the game might benefit if there's a tutorial on what to do when there's people everywhere.
I've explored it and it's limited on letting me roam freely.
So kill all people? that can't work. After using the pagers 4 times, the 5th time the boss won't believe me.
Do your best to -not- be spotted by guards or civs. If there's a civ that is in a fixed location that you need to kill, then kill them. Stash bodies where guards won't patrol by and see them. If a guard spots you, kill them and try not to be spotted next time. If (and when) a guard patrols into the room that you're hacking the PC, that's normal, kill them.
If you're using more than 4 pagers, you're doing something wrong. Try again using fewer pagers.
I would advise doing one of the original bank heists. Those are completely soloable if you have some very minimal things speced into like extra cable ties and all.
This is what I meant.
Also the dumpters on this mission are open and closeable which make great spots to hide bodies. Gaurds can walk right by them and never see whats inside (as long as you remember to close them)
ok but it's a normal level. There's onlly normal levels, or there's hard levels. I don't know how to progress if there's only two level types and I can't do the normal levels because I don't have the stuff for it. That's crap! There's no progression in a game like that!
I didn't see any more heists like jewelry or banks. I was screwed over with stupid hard levels everywhere! And I only had 2 ties. I don't know how to get more.
