That being said Fallout 4 does allow for some pretty solid tweaking, so you should be able to get it to run on most systems. There are even mods out there that reduce texture sizes (amongst others) to reduce the load on your system.

Saying Metro is like Fallout is like saying Adventure Time is like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Just because "nuclear apocalypse" is the setting doesn't make two things comparable. (I know STALKER technically isn't a nuclear apocalypse, okay)
I think I'll just download myself Lost Alpha
With that in mind, PD2 launched 3 years ago, give or take, and is running on a much less visually intensive engine, whereas Fallout 4 is built with Skyrim's engine, which was rebuilt from the ground-up to be visually impressive.
