I need a "How to have fun" guide

Before i start getting flamed etc. i'm going to say this: I'm a complete noob at this game, i AM having fun, and i'm not blaming the game or anything like that, because i don't really know it yet.
However, i've played a little and i can already foresee repetitivness, and i bet it comes from the fact that, as i said, i'm a noob, hence i'm not (yet) enjoying everything the game has to offer.

So going back to the title, where could i find a guide that could make me say "oh so that's what i was supposed to do"? Oh btw, i'm NOT asking for a heist guide or anything like that, the most fun i'm having now is figuring out how to complete heists so i'm not asking for that

If you're looking for more ways to do things, either:
Try different heists
Try heists in stealth and loud or both
Experiment with different skill builds and weapon setups
Hunt for secrets like Almirs hidden toast

If you want the most fun out of stealth do NOT ECM rush.

Search the maps for things in the environment that can help you... like using a loud drill to pull guards or even car alarms or hand dryers... even shooting some cameras can lock up guards in some places.. don't be afraid to experiment with things.

There is a "long guide" that has pretty much all the interesting map features.. so if you get stuck about something you can look it up there.

Well it sounded like the OP wanted to figure stuff out... so it seemed to me they may like stealth... lots of people do.

Is stealth that bad? From what i can see it looks like it might be far more insteresting than loud. I mean, i just played a 34 min mission, a starting one i believe, where i had to crack 2 vans and bring the bags to another van for the escape....well, i guess that the bots not picking the damn bags didn't help with it, so me and another dude had to make the work twice....but....i was sooooooo happy when that mission finished. Maybe i'm just unlucky and that mission is just renown to be crap? Maybe i played it really bad? All i know is that downing wave after wave after wave....if this is what loud is all about then i chose stealth

Well, if you're really patient and not doing any mistakes, stealth is fine. It's just that restarting all the time after you get detected is annoying.

But that is part of how you learn... really I love both the stealth and loud in this game. It is like having two games in one.

1. Be good
2. Wait for free weekend
3. Reset progress
4. Jump around low level lobbies for ♥♥♥♥ and giggle
5. Level adequately
6. Carry infamy players on DW or OD
7. Did I mention to backup your save file ?
