Optimize File Organization and Reduce Game Size!

With all of the updates (which are awesome, by the way), the game is starting to get absolutely gigantic. Some of us, like myself, don't have the largest hard drives because they are SSD or for other reasons. My suggestion is just to optimize the game now that all of these updates are out and try to compress some stuff to get it down from being almost as large as an MMO in size.

They already did that. I highly doubt they can do it again.

18.6gb is pretty small for a "modern" game though.

Mine is over 21 gigs, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. It's a potential, lol.

Last summer, the game was pushing 30gb. That is when Overkill went and overhauled the file structure, optimizing and compressing it. They reduced the size of the game down to about 11gb.

Mines a bit bigger than normal due to the Christmas Soundtrack DLC (which ads 0.4 GBs) and a few mods. So if you have either soundtrack or mods it's going to be a little bigger!

The game was uncompressed when it was 30GB, yeah sure stuff loaded up near instantly even if you were on a hard drive, but it took up too way too much space.

Gotta agree with Burnt here.
Last time i checked the unpacked files,while the bundles are still organized in odd ways,most of the junk that used to be in the game files is gone,and some are still in the files due to them being placeholders for future updates (for programmers,it's easier to replace something than to add something in a game;also,theoretically it should give less bugs) or due to them making the game bug out if deleted
