Slaughterhouse gas cans
Please highlight them after a while if they have not been found. Perhaps tie it to the completion of one of the objectives if you don't want people camping just to find out the location. it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying not to be able to continue the heist because you cannot find a single gas can. Last I checked this was a game to shoot policemen and steal money, not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hide and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seek.

So, basically do what the first game does.

That would be too easy. How heisters could know where to go for gas can ? Atleast that's how I see it.

Sometimes it's near a table, or in a room, it's not really really hard to find them ;P

I just had a game where the second can absolutely could not be found. Looking for it was enormously frustrating and since it's mission critical we could make no progress at all until we found it. This is a game to shoot cops and steal money, not a birthday party scavenger hunt.

Highlighting it straightaway yes, would be too easy, but it's only fair that as a mission critical item the locations are eventually shown to heisters. As I said, tie it to completion of other objectives so that players cannot just camp until the location is showed to them. Maybe if they still can't find it after moving the gold to the container, something like that.

+1, please at least highlight them after a while. PD:TH did it, PD2 doesn't. The gas cans don't exactly stand out. I had to abandon a Slaughterhouse game because no gas can was anywhere to be found.

In PD:TH the door to the room containing the gas cans wouldn't open until you had to set the smoke screen.

The way contours work would need a small edit.

I can confirm I've had one game where I ran for almost 30 minutes looking for the other gas can.

Tip: on the wall you face when entering the Slaughterhouse (as you see the truck).

That bastard.

In fact, maybe even let players have the option to buy gas cans as assets. Mission critical items should never be this frustrating to get.

I always suspected those ARE already purchased gas cans - as they would have no business inside a slaughterhouse to begin with.
So, highlighting them once enough gold is secured and a specific amount of time has passed (30s to 1min), like it worked in PD1, would be totally fine.

As a helpful hint, look at the locations they spawn. Then remember those for future Slaughterhouse runs.

Geee, thanks man. I'd never thought of that, silly me!
