The outdoors and a tank thing not so much.
But. You could have machine/robot/drone enemies, like a remote controlled small scout vehicle on wheels with a gun/camera.
Or one of those flying things that some services use to deliver small packages directly into your garden rather than having a delivery truck drive to you. But that flying drone would have a gun attached.
Actually, those sound too much like modern warfare. Nevermind.
Thank you, I figured having a Night Ops assualt would be the most reasonable thing to have., And yea, the tank was a little far-fetched, I was trying to think of a SWAT equivelent to one, but couldnt think of any. I just thinking having something like this would freshen things up so you aren't just fighting endless swarms of the same enemies over and over again.
The special enemies are fine, because they are specials. I'm talking about bosses.
If talking about "boss waves", what about just people with explosives. Grenade launcher or rocket launcher. A boss wave with explosive troops would have drastically reduced number of specials, and instead you have to deal with people exploding your positions.
Logically police/swat would only send those if no single civilian is left on the map.
Eh. maybe someone can make it sound good.
Still really liking "lights out night ops come in"
That's just gold. On nightmaps.
well first they would need to fix how explosive work right now, considering I can grenade you from the other side of a conceate wall
Then give them the equipment. I'm sure Gage has a few RPGs lying around. (not implying DLC.)
Probably has those as well. Still, and RPG would get the job done, just not as well as those.
I have another simplified idea on how to make special enemy units a bit tougher. Since they can already throw smoke grendaes and flashbangs, why not let them throw frag grenades too?
Would lead to a lot of dead civilians. Maybe some kind of Non lethal grenade.
