Optimisation in Payday 2

Hello, i just have to say that i have a medium device, so i have a lot of FPS loss and i need to play with a 4:3 resolution. In the safehouse, i have 3 FPS. Please help me to make the game more playable.

4:3? I didn't know there were still any die hard CRT fans holding on yet.

I think your best bet for running on a "medium"(?) device would be turning all the settings down low, making sure there's no background processes running that can be stopped and getting any performance improving mods from the payday modworkshop. If you browse there you'll find some stuff.

If its any comfort I've got a relatively high end device and some of the maps run like crud (san martin, safehouse, ect) so its not just you. No where near 3fps crud but long loading times and frame drops down in the 20's.

For the Safe house, remove as many trophies as you can as they can tank the fps

Thats strange because even on my crappy Nvidia 770 GPU computer, my game still runs at a constant 135 fps at max settings at 1080p, ive never had any problems running the game even on a crappy low end computer
